World Health Organisations issues appeal for border checks to contain Ebola



The World Health Organisation has called for all passengers leaving Ebola stricken countries to submit to screenings.

Checks should be carried out at airports, seaports and all major land crossings in Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone.

All travelers to these countries are advised to seek medical attention at the first sign of illness, which includes fever, headache, sore throat, diarrhoea, vomiting, among other symptoms.
